Recommended drilling speed for twist and final drills is 500 – 1000 RPM with copious irrigation.

Recommended reaming speed for reamers (bone profilers) is 500 RPM with copious irrigation.

KAT Implants’ Ti-bases should not be used with Zirconia Abutments due to fracture risk of either abutment or both abutment and Ti-base. Titanium Sleeve millling is provided by KAT implants at our facility in Portsmouth NH. Cost is $80 for each sleeve. Sleeve cementation should be done with a resin cement and metal primer, such as G-Cem One from GC.
